Day Habilitation Services in Solano County
Build skills for independent living—hands-on learning and mentorship in Northern California to help you thrive in your community
Learning to navigate everyday life shouldn’t feel impossible. Hammock Homes’ day habilitation program teaches practical skills through real-world experiences, not just classroom lectures. From managing money to using public transit to cooking healthy meals, we’ll work alongside you as you build confidence and capability.
What Are Day Habilitation Services?
Day habilitation is a CalAIM Community Support that provides hands-on skill-building and mentoring in real community settings. Rather than telling you how to do something, we show you—then do it with you until you’re comfortable doing it yourself.
This life skills training program addresses the practical abilities many of us take for granted but are essential for living independently. If housing instability interrupted your opportunity to develop these skills, or if you simply need to learn them in a supportive environment, day habilitation creates that space.
